Delhi University Colleges Launch Counselling Sessions for CSAS Preference Filling
DU Colleges Start Counselling for CSAS Preference Filling

With the University of Delhi’s undergraduate admission process moving into the critical preference-filling stage under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS), several colleges have initiated counselling and outreach programmes to assist students in making informed choices.

Miranda House Open House

Miranda House is organising a three-day Open House from July 7 to July 9, from 10 am to 1 pm, exclusively for Class XII girl students and their parents. The programme provides guidance on preparing CSAS preference lists, admissions through Extra Curricular Activities (ECA) and Sports quotas, certificate courses, hostel facilities, and other key aspects.

Faculty members and admission coordinators will interact directly with students to answer queries and explain the procedure. Prior online registration is compulsory, and the college plans to host nearly 500 participants each day.

Hansraj Campus Connect Initiative

Hansraj College has launched a two-day ‘Hansraj Campus Connect’ initiative to familiarise aspirants with the admission process and campus environment. The programme includes an admission help desk, information sessions on academic programmes, and campus tours for students and parents.

These counselling initiatives come at a crucial time as thousands of candidates finalise and lock their college and course preferences on the CSAS portal. Through one-on-one guidance and interactive sessions, colleges aim to reduce uncertainty and help applicants make well-informed decisions before the first seat allocation round.

Key Dates and Schedule

According to DU’s admission schedule, the first CSAS seat allocation list will be announced on July 16, and the new academic session will begin on July 28. The guidance sessions are designed to assist students in navigating the complex admission process and selecting the best options for their future.
