Haryana CM Outlines Economic and Security Initiatives

During the district-level function in Gurgaon, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini emphasized that industries serve as the backbone of the state's economy. He noted that ease of doing business has been strengthened through the elimination of outdated rules and complex procedures, making Haryana the first choice of investors from both India and abroad.

The CM highlighted Gurgaon's emergence as a global hub for IT and startups, with a township being developed over 1,000 acres under the Global City Project. He also announced development of logistics hubs in Narnaul, a manufacturing cluster in Hisar, and an electronics park in Sohna, creating new growth corridors across the state.

Remarkable economic growth was evidenced by the establishment of 12.92 lakh micro, small, and medium enterprises over the past eleven years, generating employment for approximately 49 lakh people in Haryana.

Law and Order Achievements

Chief Minister Saini detailed significant law enforcement achievements, including Operation Hotspot Domination launched from December 1, 2025, which resulted in the arrest of more than 2,200 criminals. Under the Drug-free Haryana campaign conducted last year, over 6,000 arrests were made, with illegal property worth approximately Rs 12 crore belonging to drug traffickers seized.

Saini credited effective initiatives such as Operation Track Town, Operation Clean, and Prahari with creating an atmosphere of fear among criminals. He asserted that strong law and order is the first prerequisite for the progress of any state, emphasizing that the safety of life and property of every citizen remains the government's top priority.

The Republic Day celebrations in Gurgaon thus served not only to honor exemplary public service but also to showcase the district's progress in economic development, corporate social responsibility, and law enforcement, setting a benchmark for administrative excellence in Haryana.
