The Haryana government has initiated steps to strengthen its capacity-building framework under Mission Karmayogi by seeking detailed inputs from all administrative secretaries regarding cadre-wise roles and responsibilities of employees across departments.
Chief Secretary's Communication
Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, in a communication on Monday, emphasized the importance of promoting digital learning through the iGOT Karmayogi platform. This initiative aligns with the broader vision of Mission Karmayogi to build a future-ready civil service. The state is focusing on creating structured, continuous, and outcome-oriented training systems.
Role of HIPA
The Haryana Institute of Public Administration (HIPA), as the apex training institute of the state, has been designated as the nodal agency for implementing capacity-building initiatives. HIPA will play a crucial role in coordinating and executing the training programs.
Data Collection for Targeted Training
To facilitate the preparation of need-based capacity-building plans, departments have been requested to furnish detailed data related to job roles and responsibilities for each category of employees. This information will help design targeted training modules and enhance efficiency in governance.
Urgent Action Required
All departments have been urged to provide the requisite information to HIPA at the earliest. This will enable the development of need-based capacity-building plans that address specific requirements of different employee categories.
The move is part of the state's commitment to improving administrative efficiency and ensuring that civil servants are equipped with the necessary skills to meet contemporary challenges.
