The ₹7-crore initiative specifically targets Ludhiana's most congested arterial routes, systematically converting underused land into structured, organized parking zones. The minister further highlighted that this innovative model — which creatively utilizes the vacant spaces beneath elevated roads — has been specifically designed for replication in other major cities throughout Punjab and across various states in India. The ambitious project is being developed under a comprehensive Design, Build, Operate, and Transfer (DBOT) model with a 10-year concession period. This public-private partnership framework ensures efficient implementation and long-term maintenance of the facilities.

- Capacity for 750 organized car parking slots
- Strategic stretch from Bharat Nagar Chowk to Sidhwan Canal
- Extension beneath the elevated corridor toward the ISBT

- Completion timeline of six months
