The Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) on Tuesday sealed eight cafes and food outlets in the Malviya Nagar zone for operating without mandatory RMA trade licences. Civic officials stated that the establishments had been served notices earlier and were directed to obtain the required licences, but they failed to comply within the stipulated deadline.
List of Sealed Outlets
The action was taken against the following outlets located along Tonk Road, Durgapura, and nearby areas:
- Love Over Coffee
- Shree Govindam Bhojanalaya
- JMD Bakers & Fast Food
- Nothing Before Coffee
- Starstud Cafe
- Cafe Diona
- TCT-The Coffee Tree
- Mumbai Local
Enforcement and Compliance
Corporation officials confirmed that the establishments would remain sealed until they obtain the required licences or further orders are issued. Operators were also directed to comply with all licence-related norms and regulations to avoid future actions.
JMC commissioner Om Kasera appealed to owners of hotels, restaurants, cafes, sweet shops, bakeries, and food factories operating within JMC limits to obtain valid trade licences before commencing operations. He emphasized that operating without a licence is a violation of municipal rules and will invite strict action.
This drive is part of a broader effort to ensure all food businesses adhere to legal requirements, safeguarding public health and maintaining standards. The JMC has urged all unlicensed establishments to regularize their status immediately to avoid sealing and penalties.
