MP and MLA Convene Urgent Meeting to Address LPG Shortage in Hoshiarpur

In response to reported shortages of LPG cylinders, Member of Parliament Dr Raj Kumar and Member of Legislative Assembly Dr Ishank Kumar organized a special meeting in Hoshiarpur. The gathering included gas agency dealers and administrative officials to assess the ongoing crisis and explore prompt solutions.

During the discussions, dealers and officials informed the leaders about the significant challenges arising from disruptions in LPG supply. MP Dr Raj Kumar engaged in direct conversations with deputy general managers and senior officials from major oil corporations, including Indian Oil Corporation, Hindustan Petroleum, and Bharat Petroleum. He specifically requested an increase in LPG cylinder allocations for Hoshiarpur district to alleviate the shortage.

The officials from these companies provided assurances that they would enhance the supply to the district at the earliest possible opportunity. This commitment aims to mitigate the immediate impact on consumers and businesses.
