Mumbai Power Outages Continue: Vikhroli, Andheri Hit

Mumbai: Parts of Mumbai experienced power outages for yet another day on Thursday, with residents of Vikhroli East reporting recurring power cuts. Complaints also emerged from Andheri East on Thursday.

Residents Voice Frustration

An electricity consumer took to social media to express distress. Antara Dasgupta, a resident of Gurukrupa Anantam in Kannamwar Nagar, Vikhroli East, stated: "Since the power outage, the lights in four buildings in Vikhroli East have been going out for 1-2 hours. This has been going on for the past 4-5 days." She added, "It was frustrating facing power cuts for over two hours on Wednesday night and later this afternoon. The outages were unbearable amid the sultry weather of Mumbai."

A consumer from Andheri also shared grievances on social media: "We have been facing power cuts in the Saki Naka area since last night. Power is being restored but goes off-supply again. Senior citizens, women, children and patients are facing hardships."
