Special emphasis was placed on cleaning drains and large sewers. Shinde directed that silt removed from drain and sewer banks should be cleared immediately after it dries, to minimize inconvenience to residents. This measure aims to prevent blockages and waterlogging during heavy rainfall.
Action on Dangerous Buildings
Regarding dangerous buildings, the commissioner instructed that written notices be issued for structural audits. He also suggested making appeals through media channels to ensure compliance and safety.
