Infrastructure projects totaling Rs 98 lakh were inaugurated in Ward 90 of Ludhiana on Saturday. The initiatives aim to enhance road connectivity and water infrastructure in the area.
Key Projects and Budget Allocation
The largest portion of the budget, approximately Rs 50 lakh, has been allocated for the reconstruction of streets in Kesar Ganj Mandi. In the Tyre Market area, Rs 35 lakh is being spent on laying new water supply and sewerage pipelines. Additionally, Rs 13 lakh has been set aside for the installation of a new tubewell to improve water availability.
Officials' Statements
MLAs Madan Lal Bagga and Ashok Prashar Pappi highlighted that projects worth crores are currently underway across the city. They emphasized that any compromise on the quality of construction would not be tolerated and warned officials to ensure high standards.
