PM Modi to release 21st PM-KISAN instalment Nov 19

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to release the 21st instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme on November 19, 2025, providing further financial support to millions of farmers across India.

Massive Financial Support for Farmers

This upcoming disbursement is part of the central government's flagship initiative that provides direct income support to the farming community. The scheme offers financial aid of Rs 6,000 per year to eligible farmer families, distributed in three equal instalments of Rs 2,000 each.

To date, the program has been a monumental success in its outreach and impact. Through the previous twenty instalments, the government has transferred more than Rs 3.70 lakh crore directly into the bank accounts of beneficiaries. This massive sum has reached an astounding 11 crore (110 million) farmer families nationwide, providing a crucial safety net for India's agricultural backbone.

A Landmark Scheme for Rural India

The PM-KISAN scheme was launched in December 2018 with the primary objective of protecting farmers from financial distress and ensuring their continued prosperity. The funds are transferred directly to beneficiaries, eliminating intermediaries and ensuring transparency.

The release of each instalment is a significant event, often marked by a formal ceremony where the Prime Minister interacts with farmers from various states. The scheme has played a vital role in supplementing the financial needs of farmers for procuring various inputs related to agriculture and allied activities, as well as domestic needs.

Sustained Commitment to Agriculture

The consistent rollout of the PM-KISAN instalments highlights the government's sustained commitment to the welfare of the agricultural sector. The direct benefit transfer model has been widely praised for its efficiency in delivering support to the intended recipients without delay.

As the nation prepares for the 21st instalment, the farming community awaits another infusion of support that will help them manage their expenses and invest in their livelihoods, reinforcing the government's pledge to stand with India's 'Annadata'.
