Berhampur: Police on Thursday arrested 10 individuals for their alleged involvement in a violent clash between two theatre groups in the Markandi area under Golanthara police station limits in Ganjam district. The incident occurred on Wednesday night, leaving at least a dozen people injured, including some police personnel.

The altercation erupted between members of theatre groups from Ramapalli and Gobindapur following a heated argument. Tensions escalated rapidly, leading to the rival groups hurling bricks, stones, and crude bombs at each other.
