A 15-year-old school girl was allegedly gang raped by two men in Rajasthan's Alwar district, police said on Tuesday. The incident took place on Monday evening when the girl was returning home from her school in the Bansur area.

According to the police, the girl was waylaid by two men on a motorcycle near a deserted spot. They forcibly took her to a nearby field and sexually assaulted her. After the assault, the accused fled the scene, threatening the girl with dire consequences if she reported the matter.
The girl managed to reach her home and narrated the ordeal to her family. Her family immediately approached the police and lodged a complaint. Based on the victim's statement, a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act has been registered.
Police Investigation
Senior police officials visited the spot and have formed teams to nab the accused. The victim has been sent for a medical examination. Police are also scanning CCTV footage from the area to identify the suspects.
"We have registered a case and are investigating the matter. The accused will be arrested soon," said a police officer. The incident has sparked outrage among locals, who have demanded strict action against the culprits.
This is the latest in a series of sexual assault cases reported from Rajasthan. In recent months, several such incidents have come to light, raising concerns about women's safety in the state.
