East Delhi Stabbing Spree: Seven Apprehended Including Five Minors

In a disturbing incident that unfolded across East Delhi on Saturday night, two men were stabbed in separate but related attacks by a group that included five juveniles. Police have confirmed the apprehension of all seven suspects, preventing their planned escape to another city.

Sequence of Violent Attacks

The violence began when Mandawali police station received a PCR call at 10:56 pm on November 8 regarding a stabbing near Talab Chowk in Mandawali. According to DCP (East) Abhishek Dhania, the caller reported that five to six individuals had attacked his brother with a knife.

Police teams immediately rushed to the location and discovered two victims: Kissu alias Krishna and his friend Mohit, both residents of Mandawali. Krishna had sustained a serious stab injury to his left thigh and was promptly transported to a hospital for emergency medical treatment.

Second Victim Discovered

Approximately twenty minutes after the first incident, at around 11:15 pm, LBS hospital received another emergency call concerning a second stabbing victim. This individual was identified as Yash, also from Mandawali, who had suffered injuries to the right side of his chest.

The discovery of this second victim confirmed police suspicions that they were dealing with multiple connected violent incidents occurring within a short timeframe in the same locality.

Police Investigation and Arrests

Following the attacks, Delhi Police conducted multiple raids throughout Mandawali area but initially found that the accused had fled the scene. The breakthrough came when police teams raided a house in Arthala.

In the early hours of Sunday, seven individuals were apprehended, including five juveniles and two adults. The arrests came at a critical moment as the group was preparing to flee to Bijnor by bus, according to police officials involved in the operation.

The swift police action prevented the suspects from escaping the city and potentially evading justice. The case highlights ongoing concerns about juvenile involvement in violent crimes in the capital city.
