Gurugram: A 74-year-old woman was found dead in her home in DLF Phase 2, days after she was reported missing by her family. The body was discovered on Wednesday evening, prompting a police investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.

The woman, identified as Shanti Devi, had been living alone in the DLF Phase 2 area. She was reported missing by her son on Monday after he was unable to contact her. On Wednesday, neighbors alerted authorities about a foul smell emanating from her residence. Police broke open the door and found her body lying on the floor.

The body has been sent for post-mortem to determine the exact cause of death. Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) Subhash Boken stated, “We are investigating all angles.
