Accountant Found Dead in Mansa District
An accountant working with a vegetable dealer was discovered dead with injuries from a sharp weapon in the Budhlada sub-division of Mansa district on Wednesday. The body of Rajdeep Singh, 29, was spotted by locals next to his scooter on the Daryapur-Kulana village road near the railway crossing in the morning.
According to police, the victim, a resident of Daryapur Khurd village, was attacked while en route to the Budhlada vegetable market. A murder case has been registered in connection with the incident.
The victim's mother, Jasbir Kaur, alleged that some locals had suspected her son's involvement in the recent suicide of a youth from the same village. However, police stated that the exact motive behind the killing remains unknown and that an investigation is ongoing.
