A 27-year-old woman was admitted to Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad after an unidentified man allegedly threw a corrosive substance, suspected by police to be acid, on her near Neelkamal Society in Naroda on Friday evening. Inspector S A Gohil confirmed the attack, stating, "We are going to the hospital to get the details of how much injury she has sustained in the acid attack. Primary information rules out major burns."
