A case of alleged religious desecration has sparked tension in Amritsar. The incident occurred at a Hanuman temple located on Batala Road. Images of the Golden Temple and Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Ji were discovered dumped in garbage near the boundary wall of the temple complex.

Nihang Sikh Organisations Respond Swiftly

Members of various Nihang Sikh organisations rushed to the spot after receiving information. Nihang Singh Jathedar Baba Pavandeep Singh stated that he arrived immediately. He respectfully collected the images and performed a cremation in accordance with religious traditions and dignity.

Temple Attendant Denies Involvement, Apologises

Temple attendant Bharat Bhushan firmly denied any involvement in the incident. He claimed that some unidentified miscreants were responsible for dumping the sacred images. Bhushan apologised if the incident hurt religious sentiments. He expressed deep regret and suggested the act appeared to be an attempt to tarnish the temple's image.

Nihangs Defuse Matter, Demand Action

Following the public apology from the temple attendant, the Nihang organisations decided to defuse the matter. However, they demanded strict action against those responsible for the act. The organisations emphasised the need for justice to prevent such incidents in the future.

Police Register Case, Launch Investigation

The police have registered a case and launched a thorough investigation into the incident. Authorities stated that CCTV footage and other evidence are being examined to identify the culprits. The investigation aims to uncover the truth behind this sensitive matter.
