A 21-year-old BBA student was brutally stabbed and his motorcycle stolen after he was tricked into a staged road rage incident in Bengaluru. The incident occurred late Tuesday night in the outskirts of the city.

Details of the Incident

The victim, identified as Ravi Kumar, was returning home from his tuition class when two men on a scooter intentionally hit his bike from behind. When Ravi stopped to check the damage, the accused began arguing with him. Within moments, one of them pulled out a knife and stabbed Ravi multiple times in the abdomen and chest. Police Investigation

The Bengaluru police have registered a case of attempted murder and robbery. Preliminary investigations suggest that the attack was premeditated, as the accused had deliberately staged the minor collision to lure the victim into a confrontation. Police are scanning CCTV footage from nearby shops and street cameras to identify the suspects.

“We believe this was a planned robbery. The accused targeted the student knowing he would stop after the accident. We have formed special teams to nab them,” said a senior police officer.

Rising Concerns

The incident has sparked fear among residents, especially students and commuters who travel late at night. Locals have demanded increased police patrolling and better street lighting in the area. The victim’s family has appealed for justice and stricter action against criminals.

This is not an isolated case. In recent months, Bengaluru has witnessed a spate of robberies and attacks under the guise of road rage. Police have urged citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately.
