The accused, identified as 35-year-old Lakshmi, was taken into custody after investigators uncovered a trail of evidence linking her to the gruesome crime that occurred in the upscale HSR Layout area.
The Disturbing Sequence of Events
According to police reports, the tragedy unfolded when Lakshmi, who had been working for the elderly woman for several months, allegedly strangled her employer during a heated argument. The confrontation reportedly began over unpaid wages and working conditions.
What makes this case particularly shocking is what followed the alleged murder. Instead of fleeing immediately, the domestic help reportedly spent considerable time in the house, methodically gathering valuable items including:
