Bhojshala Verdict to Be Challenged in Supreme Court, Says Muslim Group
Bhojshala Verdict to Be Challenged in Supreme Court

Hours after the High Court verdict on the Bhojshala complex, Maulana Kamaluddin Welfare Society president Abdul Samad announced on Friday that the order will be challenged in the Supreme Court.

Challenge to High Court Order

“We will certainly move the Supreme Court against the High Court order that is based on reports which clearly favoured the petitioners,” Samad stated in an interview with TOI. He asserted that the Society had presented its case before the court with all relevant evidence and documents.

Claims of Lack of Evidence

Samad argued that the Hindu Front for Justice relied on historical accounts, books, and research papers rather than concrete evidence. “They did not provide any solid proof that a temple was demolished to construct a mosque,” he claimed.

Response from Hindu Side

HFJ lawyer Vishnu Shankar Jain responded by saying that Muslims are free to approach the Supreme Court. “We will meet them in the court with our arguments,” Jain remarked.

This development comes as part of the ongoing legal battle over the Bhojshala complex, a site of religious significance for both Hindus and Muslims.
