Residents of Patna's Danapur area woke to a grim discovery on Saturday morning. The body of a 41-year-old man lay beside Gabthal Panchsheel Nagar Road. Local police identified the deceased as Sushil Kumar.
Man Spotted Sitting for Hours Before Death
Eyewitnesses reported seeing Sushil Kumar sitting on a shop's platform from 10pm on Friday night. He remained in that position for several hours. Nobody knew what happened to him afterward.
Police Respond Quickly to the Scene
Upon receiving information about the body, teams from Dial 112 and local police rushed to the spot. Officers conducted an initial examination of the scene.
No external injuries were visible on the body according to police statements. A purse containing personal documents lay scattered on the platform near the deceased.
Identity Established Through Aadhaar Card
The documents included an Aadhaar card which helped establish the man's identity. Sushil Kumar was a resident of Chhajjanganj Bhaluhipur area in Bhojpur district.
Police used phone numbers found in the purse to contact family members. They informed the family about the tragic death.

Danapur Station House Officer Prashant Kumar Bhardwaj addressed the media about the case. He confirmed there were no visible injuries on the body.
Further legal action will proceed after receiving the postmortem report, Bhardwaj stated. The investigation aims to determine exact circumstances surrounding the death.
