Bokaro: In a decisive move against power theft, the Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) has filed a First Information Report (FIR) against six individuals at the Sector-6 police station, the company announced on Saturday.

Details of the Incident

According to a BSL spokesperson, some persons were found engaging in unauthorized electrical hooking. When home guards attempted to intervene and confiscate the wires, a heated altercation ensued. The situation escalated, leading to an assault on a Home Guard jawan.

Police Response

Sector-6 police station in-charge Sangeeta Kumari confirmed that six individuals have been named in the complaint for allegedly assaulting a Home Guard jawan. “Police have begun a thorough probe into the matter,” she added.
