Nagpur: A bullion trader, Rupesh Soni, was brutally attacked by four youngsters outside a restaurant on Central Avenue late Sunday night. The incident occurred after a verbal dispute escalated into violence.

Details of the Incident

Soni and his friends were dining at a restaurant when a disagreement arose with a group seated at the adjacent table. The dispute reportedly began over Soni's loud conversation. Upon being asked to lower his voice, Soni apologized. However, the situation took a turn for the worse after he stepped out of the restaurant.

The Attack

The four youths, who were lying in wait outside, assaulted Soni. They smashed a bottle on his head, causing profuse bleeding. Soni was left injured and bleeding on the spot. The attackers then fled the scene.

Legal Action

An attempted murder case has been registered at Lakadganj Police Station. Police have launched a manhunt for the absconding attackers. Soni is currently undergoing treatment for his injuries. Authorities are investigating the matter and have urged anyone with information to come forward.
