CBI Recreates Crime Scene in Twisha Sharma Death Case

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday recreated the crime scene at the residence of former judge Giribala Singh in Bhopal as part of its ongoing probe into the death of Twisha Sharma, sources said. Investigators used dummies and sacks during the exercise to reconstruct the sequence of events and verify statements collected during the investigation.

Objective of Reconstruction

According to sources, the reconstruction was aimed at identifying any inconsistencies and gaining clarity on the circumstances surrounding the incident. The exercise is a standard procedure in complex investigations to ensure that witness accounts align with physical evidence.

Giribala Singh's Custody

Giribala Singh was taken into custody by the CBI last week after the Madhya Pradesh High Court quashed her anticipatory bail in the case. The agency has since been questioning her during police remand as part of its investigation. The CBI is examining multiple angles, including the possibility of foul play, and has collected forensic evidence from the scene.
