The situation escalated dramatically on Thursday when the girl's father spotted Sasikumar, a 23-year-old resident of Royapettah who was identified as part of the harassing gang.
An argument erupted between the two men, during which Sasikumar allegedly attacked the father and issued death threats. In a further act of aggression, he then entered a nearby bakery, where he proceeded to break glass window panes and create significant disturbance within the establishment.
