The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has dismissed jawan Parul Ahmed following his arrest for allegedly raping a young woman multiple times under the pretext of marriage. Ahmed (25), who was posted at the force's 'Relations' wing at RG Kar Hospital, had befriended the woman while she was accompanying her ailing mother.
Incident Details
The woman complained that Ahmed lured her to a hotel near Chinar Park, where he allegedly assaulted her and filmed objectionable videos. He then used the footage to blackmail and rape her two more times.
Arrest and Legal Proceedings
Following a complaint lodged by the woman at Narayanpur Police Station, Ahmed was arrested last week. He was produced before a Barrackpore court on Wednesday and remanded to judicial custody for 14 days.
CISF Response
"Considering the misconduct and reiterating the zero-tolerance policy towards any act that undermines the integrity and image of the Force, the CISF has dismissed Ahmed with immediate effect," said a senior CISF official.
The official said Ahmed joined the force in 2023 and was transferred to RG Kar Hospital on May 27 last month.
