Victim Identified as Bank Employee
The deceased has been identified as Raju Kajaniya, a resident of Anna Nagar who worked as a peon at a local bank. According to police officials, they received a PCR call around 3:30 pm reporting the accident and immediately rushed to the location. Upon arrival, they found Kajaniya lying on the road with critical injuries sustained from the collision.
Despite emergency response efforts, medical personnel declared him dead at the scene. The body was subsequently transported to the AIIMS mortuary for further examination and necessary procedures as part of the investigation into the fatal incident.
Driver Taken Into Custody
The truck driver involved in the accident has been identified as 29-year-old Arun Kumar, a resident of Sitamarhi district in Bihar. Police officials confirmed that Kumar was taken into custody at the accident site and is currently being questioned regarding the circumstances that led to the collision.
