An FIR has been registered by the vigilance unit of Delhi Police against an inspector and a head constable posted with the Intelligence Fusion and Strategic Operations unit of the special cell on allegations of bribery, extortion, assault and misuse of official position. He alleged that on July 15, 2024, he was handcuffed in public view in Rohini and taken to his house by the cops. They assaulted him, misbehaved with his wife and threatened the family during a search operation, he claimed. The policemen allegedly seized Rs 20 lakh, a mangalsutra and other valuables, and also used his credit card while he was lodged in jail. They forced his wife to pay Rs 15 lakh and Robin also demanded a car for Singh, he claimed.
