A young man's tragic death in Delhi has sparked a police investigation and family suspicions. Bhavishya, a 25-year-old resident of Railway Road in Azadpur, fell from a terrace on Sunday evening. His friend Vansh rushed him to Deep Chand Bandhu Hospital around 7:40 pm. Doctors declared Bhavishya dead upon arrival.
Police Launch Probe After Hospital Alert
Delhi Police received information from the hospital about the incident. Officers from the Adarsh Nagar police station immediately reached the medical facility. They began a preliminary investigation into the circumstances surrounding Bhavishya's death.
During initial questioning, Bhavishya's family expressed serious concerns. They told police they suspect foul play in his death. The family specifically raised questions about the involvement of his friends who were present at the time of the incident.
Five Friends on Terrace When Fall Occurred
Police investigation revealed Bhavishya had been on the terrace of a house in Lal Bagh, Azadpur. Four friends accompanied him at the time of the fall. The house belongs to 21-year-old Lalit Rawat. Other individuals present included Nitesh Tomar (19), Vansh (18), and Kanishk, who is Nitesh's cousin.
A senior police officer provided details about their initial findings. "Our inquiry suggests all five were mutual friends," the officer stated. "They were together on the terrace when Bhavishya fell. Currently, we have no evidence indicating foul play. The allegations appear unsubstantiated at this stage."
Video Evidence Complicates Investigation
During the ongoing investigation, a purported video clip surfaced. The video shows one of Bhavishya's friends speaking with Lalit Rawat on a phone call. Rawat owns the house from which Bhavishya fell.
In the video, Rawat makes serious allegations. He claims Bhavishya tried to choke him before a physical scuffle broke out. This new evidence has added complexity to the police investigation.
A police officer close to the investigation commented on the video. "We are keeping all possibilities open," the officer said. "We are examining the clip carefully. Once we verify its authenticity, we will pursue this lead appropriately."
Post-Mortem and Statements Underway
Police continue to investigate the matter thoroughly. Officers are recording statements from everyone present during the incident. Medical authorities have conducted a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.
The investigating officer emphasized their commitment to following proper procedures. "We will receive the post-mortem report soon," the officer explained. "Once we complete all necessary enquiries, we will take appropriate legal action according to the law."
Despite initial findings suggesting an accidental fall, police maintain the investigation remains active. They are examining all evidence, including the controversial video, to reach a conclusive determination about what happened on that terrace in Azadpur.
