A devastating road accident in Dhanbad's Sindri area on Friday resulted in the tragic deaths of a woman and her son after their scooter violently collided with a school van. The incident has sent shockwaves through the local community.

The accident occurred near BBM College, within the jurisdiction of the Baliyapur police station. According to eyewitness accounts, the school van was in the process of dropping children at their homes when the two-wheeler, coming from the opposite direction, slammed into it at a very high speed.

His mother, Ruby Devi (55), who was riding pillion, was rushed to the Shaheed Nirmal Mahto Medical College and Hospital for urgent treatment. Tragically, she could not be saved and passed away in the evening. The police confirmed that both deceased were residents within the limits of the Baliyapur police station area.
