DJ Found Dead in Gurgaon Rental Home Under Mysterious Circumstances
Police discovered the body of a 40-year-old man in his rented accommodation in Gurgaon on Tuesday. The incident occurred in Sheetla Colony, Sector 5, under puzzling conditions.
Victim Identified as DJ from Uttar Pradesh
Authorities identified the deceased as Vinod, a resident of Pilibhit district in Uttar Pradesh. He worked as a DJ in the area. Vinod had been living in Gurgaon for approximately one and a half years with his wife and child.
His wife traveled to her native place on January 2. After her departure, Vinod remained alone in the room. He last communicated with his wife over the phone on January 11. Following that call, he did not emerge from his room.
Landlord Discovers the Body While Collecting Rent
The situation came to light when the landlord visited the premises to collect rent. After receiving no response to repeated knocks, the landlord peered through a window. He saw Vinod lying motionless near the bed.
The landlord immediately alerted the police. Officers arrived promptly at the scene. They found Vinod lying on the floor close to the bed.
Police Find Liquor Bottles and Scratch Marks
Investigators recovered several liquor bottles from inside the room. The body exhibited a few scratch marks. Police are currently examining all evidence to determine the cause of death.
