Wakil Marandi and Police Hansda, both residents of Phulpahari village in Littipara and aged approximately 24 years, were killed instantly at the spot.
The third individual, Sangram Hansda, who was also on the bike, suffered severe injuries. He was promptly rushed to Pakur sadar hospital for emergency treatment. As of Tuesday, medical officials reported that Sangram was in stable condition, though he remains under close observation.

Vinay Kumar, the officer-in-charge of Littipara police station, confirmed that a case has been registered against the unknown vehicle involved in the hit-and-run. The bodies of Wakil Marandi and Police Hansda were sent for post-mortem examination on Tuesday to determine the exact cause of death and gather forensic evidence.
