In a significant move to curb criminal activities, the Fatehpur police in Prayagraj district opened history sheets of 12 notorious criminals at eight police stations on Sunday. The action was taken across stations including Jafarganj (2), Jahanabad (3), Khaga (2), and one each at Khakhareru, Kalyanpur, Bindiki, Hathgav, and Sultanpur Ghosh.
Details of History Sheets Opened
At the Khakhareru police station, a history sheet was opened for Manoj Kumar, a resident of Anjana Kabir, who has eight criminal cases registered against him. Similarly, at the Khaga police station, history sheets were opened for Sohail alias Sahil of Dariyapiur, also with eight cases, and Abdul of Karsuva, who has six criminal cases.
Other Criminals Targeted
History sheets were also opened for Amit Kumar of Harsinghpur at Kalyanpur, Rizwan of Muglai at Bindiki, Mohd Jishan alias Mohd Sohail of Raipur at Hathgav, and Shivam Kumar of Itauli at Sultanpur Ghosh police stations. Additionally, three history sheets were opened at Jahanabad and two at Jafarganj police stations.
This initiative aims to keep a close watch on repeat offenders and prevent further crimes. The police will now monitor these individuals more closely, and any violation of conditions could lead to stricter action.
