In a tragic incident early Friday morning, five people lost their lives after a speeding car collided with a parked lorry in Chitradurga district, Karnataka. The accident occurred on the National Highway 48 near the Hosadurga taluk, approximately 200 kilometers from Bengaluru.

The car, which was traveling from Bengaluru towards Shivamogga, crashed into the rear of a stationary lorry that was parked on the side of the highway.
