Four Young Lives Lost in Udaipur Car Crash on Old Ahmedabad Bypass
A devastating car accident struck Udaipur early Saturday morning. Four friends lost their lives near Nela Talab in the Savina area. Six other people sustained injuries in the collision between two cars on the old Ahmedabad bypass.
Severe Impact Traps Victims in Wreckage
The crash impact was extremely severe. It completely destroyed both vehicles. The wreckage trapped the victims inside their cars. Emergency services rushed to the scene. They worked hard to extricate the bodies and rescue the injured passengers.
Police Identify Deceased and Injured Victims
Police officials provided the names of the deceased young men. Mohammad Ayan, aged 17, lived in Murshid Nagar. Adil Qureshi, just 14 years old, was from Barkat Colony. Sher Mohammad, 19, resided in Mallatalai. Gulam Khwaja, 17, called Savina home.
Two other friends from the group suffered serious injuries. Wasim, 20, and Mohammad Kaif, 19, received immediate hospital care.
The occupants of the second vehicle also experienced injuries. They were traveling from Rajgarh in Churu district towards Vapi in Gujarat. The injured individuals include Mahipal Jat (48), Rajbala (45), Rajesh (26), and Karmveer Singh (24).
Birthday Celebration Ends in Tragedy
Ajayraj Singh, the SHO of Savina Police Station, explained the tragic circumstances. The group of friends had gathered to celebrate Mohammad Ayan's birthday on January 16. After attending a "Mahfil-e-Milad" gathering near Nela Talab, they decided to go for tea.
Their vehicle entered the main road. At that moment, it collided with another car on the bypass. The fatal accident occurred suddenly, cutting short their celebration.
Local authorities continue to investigate the exact cause of the collision. The community mourns the loss of these young lives in Udaipur.
