Four Arrested in Jamshedpur Murder Case; Prime Accused Injured in Police Encounter
Police in Jamshedpur have arrested four individuals in connection with the murder of Rahul Bachha, who was shot dead at Munshi Mohalla under Mango police station limits on Wednesday night. The prime accused sustained injuries during a police encounter prior to his arrest.
The incident occurred on the night of 8 July 2026, when Bachha was fatally shot by unknown assailants. Following the attack, police launched an investigation and identified the suspects. On 9 July, a police team tracked down the prime accused, who opened fire on officers, leading to an exchange of gunfire. The accused was wounded in the leg and subsequently taken into custody.

According to senior police officials, the four accused were apprehended from different locations in Jamshedpur.
