Garhwa: In a tragic incident on Friday morning, the body of a 19-year-old youth was discovered hanging from a tree on the grounds of the local Rama Sahu High School. The deceased has been identified as Divyanshu Kumar, a resident of the Tandwa locality in Garhwa town.
Police Investigation Underway
Sunil Kumar Tiwari, officer-in-charge of Sadar police station, provided details of the case. He stated that the father of the deceased, Babu Ram Prasad Gupta, has filed a formal complaint with the police station, alleging that his son was murdered and that his body was subsequently hanged from the tree to make it appear as a suicide. However, the police officer noted that from a preliminary assessment, the incident appears to be a suicide.
Possible Motive
According to the officer, Divyanshu was reportedly upset after learning about his girlfriend's involvement with another person. This emotional distress is being considered as a possible motive for the suicide, pending further investigation.
