The young man was dragged for nearly 25 kilometers under a speeding truck after the vehicle allegedly ran over his goat and then struck him when he attempted to stop it.

According to police reports, the truck was traveling from the Shivpuri side when it first ran over a goat that was grazing along the roadside. The herdsman, identified as Sonu Dhobi (25), son of Chatai Dhobi and a resident of a village in the Pahargarh area, witnessed the animal being crushed and reportedly tried to stop the vehicle.
Police stated that Sonu had taken his goats out for grazing early on Saturday morning. At approximately 10 am, while he was tending to the animals near the roadside, a truck traveling at high speed toward Kailaras allegedly ran over one of his goats. Seeing his animal being killed, Sonu made a desperate attempt to halt the truck.
The Horrific Sequence of Events
Instead of slowing down, the driver continued at speed and struck Sonu, causing him to fall and become trapped beneath the vehicle. Police investigations revealed that the young man's leg became entangled in the truck's undercarriage, and he remained stuck underneath as the driver continued driving recklessly without stopping.
During this terrifying ordeal, Sonu was dragged for approximately 25 kilometers. The prolonged dragging resulted in severe injuries, with his head being crushed, leading to his immediate death at the scene. The police confirmed that the youth died on the spot due to the catastrophic nature of his injuries.
