In a disturbing case emerging from Gurgaon, a man has been arrested by police for allegedly raping a woman multiple times under the false pretext of marriage. The two individuals initially connected through the popular dating application Bumble earlier this year.

According to the official police complaint filed by the victim, she first came into contact with the accused, identified as Saurabh, in January 2024 via the Bumble platform. The two began interacting regularly, with the accused gradually building her trust over time.
