A tragic road accident in Gurgaon has claimed the life of a 46-year-old man, Chanchal Kumar Yadav, who was a resident of Bajghera. The incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, April 1, near GD Goenka College in Sohna, when a tractor-trolley allegedly rammed into the motorcycle he was travelling on.
Details of the Fatal Crash
According to police reports, the accident took place around 12:15 am. Chanchal Kumar Yadav was riding pillion on a motorcycle driven by his brother, Panchdev Yadav. They were en route from Sohna towards the city when a tractor-trolley, reportedly being driven at high speed and in a rash manner, collided with their motorcycle from behind.
The forceful impact caused both men to be thrown off the bike. While Panchdev Yadav fell to one side, Chanchal was propelled forward, sustaining severe head injuries. The tractor-trolley overturned following the collision, and the driver abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene.

Passers-by rushed Chanchal Kumar Yadav to Govt Hospital Sohna, where doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival. Based on a formal complaint lodged by Panchdev Yadav, the City Sohna police station has registered a case under sections 106 (causing death by negligence) and 281 (rash driving) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Authorities have confirmed that efforts are actively underway to identify and apprehend the absconding driver. The investigation is focused on tracing the individual responsible for this fatal incident.
