A tragic incident unfolded in Jaipur on Tuesday morning, resulting in the death of a 68-year-old retired bank employee, Vijendra Singh. The confrontation began when Vijendra Singh objected to a tempo traveller being driven through the narrow lane in front of his residence. According to preliminary police reports, the vehicle was summoned by his neighbour, Chhote Lal, who operates a travel agency and resides adjacent to Singh's home. The tempo traveller was intended for a trip to Ujjain, scheduled for around 8 am.
As Singh and his family members voiced their concerns over the vehicle's entry into the congested lane, a verbal dispute quickly escalated into a physical scuffle. During the altercation, Singh fell onto the road, losing consciousness. Witnesses reported that Chhote Lal and his wife fled the scene immediately after the incident, while the tempo driver, identified as Dinesh Kumar from Jhunjhunu, also escaped with the vehicle.
