A devastating road accident in the Govindgarh area of Jaipur district on Tuesday resulted in the tragic deaths of a 68-year-old retired government teacher and his 45-year-old son. The fatal collision occurred when a Thar vehicle rammed into their scooty, according to police officials.
Victims Identified as Satyanarayan Saini and Vijendra Saini
Police have identified the deceased as Satyanarayan Saini, aged 68, and his son Vijendra Saini, aged 45. Both were residents of Ward No 1 in Chomu. In a heartbreaking turn, Vijendra's nine-year-old son also sustained injuries in the accident but is reported to be in stable condition and out of danger.
Details of the Fatal Collision
Station House Officer Vinod Sankhla provided crucial details about the incident. The tragedy unfolded around 2 pm near Bhadala Cut as the victims were traveling from Chomu to Shrimadhopur in Sikar district to attend a family function.
According to police investigations, the Thar vehicle was allegedly coming from the wrong direction when it violently collided with the scooty. The impact was so severe that all three occupants of the two-wheeler suffered critical injuries and were flung from the vehicle onto the road.
Eyewitness Accounts and Immediate Response
Multiple eyewitnesses reported that the Thar vehicle was moving at dangerously high speed at the time of the collision. Alert local residents immediately rushed to the accident spot and notified both police authorities and ambulance services.
The injured victims were quickly shifted to a nearby hospital for emergency medical treatment. Tragically, doctors declared both Satyanarayan Saini and Vijendra Saini dead upon arrival at the healthcare facility.
The injured child received prompt first aid at the hospital and was subsequently handed over to family members for further care and support during this difficult time.
