Jhalawar Police Uncovers Major Drug Factory Disguised as Cattle Shed

Police in Jhalawar district made a significant breakthrough on Saturday. They dismantled a clandestine mephedrone manufacturing operation. This illegal unit was cleverly concealed within a cattle shed.

Massive Haul Valued at Crores

Officials confirmed the seized narcotics and materials carry an estimated value of approximately Rs 25 crore. The raid yielded a substantial quantity of finished drugs and production equipment.

Acting on precise intelligence, a joint police team from Bhawanimandi and Mishroli stations targeted the shed in Amaliya Kheda village. The operation was part of a broader district-wide campaign against drug trafficking.

Detailed Inventory of Seized Items

During the search, authorities confiscated around 2 kilograms of manufactured mephedrone, also known as MD. The drug was found in multiple forms including powder, liquid, and a moist substance.

Police also recovered about 130 liters of liquid chemicals used in the production process. The list of seized materials is extensive:

  • Chemical-filled drums and various containers
  • Sacks of urea and suspicious white powder
  • Gas stoves and cylinders for heating
  • Weighing scales and air-drying machines
  • Numerous glass bottles, utensils, and other manufacturing tools

For transportation purposes, the unit used a car and a Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle. Police seized both vehicles from the site.

Accused Flee, Rewards Offered for Capture

Jhalawar Superintendent of Police Amit Kumar identified three primary suspects. They are Gopal Singh, Narendra Singh, and Dinesh Singh. All three hail from villages under the Mishroli police station jurisdiction.

The accused managed to escape before police reached the location. Authorities have now announced a cash reward. They are offering Rs 25,000 for each individual, for information that leads to their arrest.

High-Level Supervision and Ongoing Probe

Kumar stated that senior officers closely supervised the entire operation. The additional superintendent of police and the circle officer provided direct oversight. This action followed specific directives to all police stations in Jhalawar district. The orders mandated intensified efforts against narcotics crimes.

Police have registered cases under the relevant sections of the NDPS Act. The investigation remains active and focused on several key objectives:

  1. Tracking down the three absconding accused.
  2. Identifying the complete supply chain for the drugs.
  3. Dismantling the larger network involved in manufacturing and trafficking.

This raid highlights the ongoing efforts by Rajasthan police to combat the illegal drug trade operating in rural areas.
