Kanpur Coaching Centre Horror: FIR Filed Against Four for Brutal Assault on Class IX Student
In a shocking incident from Kanpur, police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against four individuals, including a coaching centre operator, following a formal complaint by a woman alleging severe assault and harassment of her 15-year-old son, a Class IX student, at a coaching centre in Orai.
Details of the Alleged Assault and Harassment
The woman, a resident of Rameshwar Nagar under the jurisdiction of the Orai Kotwali police station, has claimed that her son was detained and brutally beaten by teachers on March 10. According to the complaint, four teachers allegedly held the boy at the coaching centre from approximately 3:30 PM to 5:20 PM.
The family alleges that the student was first taken to a bathroom where he was stripped and physically assaulted. Subsequently, he was locked in an office room, tied with a rope, and subjected to further beatings. This ordeal has left the boy with physical injuries and significant mental trauma, as reported by his family.
Background and Motive Behind the Incident
The woman stated that a day prior to the assault, another student had posted objectionable messages about the teachers in the coaching centre's WhatsApp group. She alleged that the teachers suspected her son of posting these messages without conducting any proper verification. As a result, they punished him severely without informing his parents about the situation.
Furthermore, the family was called to the coaching centre later but was not provided with accurate or complete details regarding the incident, adding to their distress and confusion.
Police Action and Ongoing Investigation
Following the complaint, police have taken swift action by registering the FIR against the accused persons. The case highlights serious concerns about student safety and disciplinary practices in educational institutions. Authorities are now investigating the matter thoroughly to ascertain the full extent of the events and ensure justice for the victim.
This incident has sparked outrage in the local community, raising questions about the accountability of coaching centres and the protection of minors from such abusive behaviors.
