The loud noise accompanying the damage immediately triggered alarm among locals, with many suspecting an explosive device had been used. The fear was palpable enough for Tripathi to approach the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) office, alleging that miscreants had hurled explosives at his vehicle.
Police Investigation Unravels the Truth
Law enforcement swiftly launched an investigation into the serious allegations. A crucial piece of evidence was a recording from a nearby CCTV camera, which captured the entire incident. After reviewing the footage, the police identified and detained two youths along with a minor from the same neighbourhood for detailed questioning.
