According to police reports, the victim's father stated that on March 12, he and his wife left their daughter alone at home while they went to work in the fields. It is alleged that during this period, the accused, who resides in the same neighbourhood, entered their house. He then reportedly took the girl to a nearby hut and forcibly raped her.
When the girl raised an alarm, a woman from the village arrived at the scene, prompting the accused to flee. Initially, the family approached the accused's parents, who apologized and promised to send him away. Due to concerns about social stigma, no formal complaint was lodged at that time.
Escalation and Police Intervention
The situation escalated on the night of April 7, when the accused allegedly entered the victim's house again, this time through the roof. The family woke up, raised an alarm, and the accused escaped once more. When they confronted his parents again, they were met with abuse instead of cooperation.
Inspector Sudhir Kumar confirmed that based on a written complaint, a case has been officially registered. The teenage girl has been sent for a medical examination as part of the investigation process. The police are actively pursuing the matter to ensure justice is served.
