The Karunagappally police, working closely with the District Anti-Narcotics Special Action Force (Dansaf), apprehended a young man found in possession of a substantial quantity of MDMA.

The arrested individual is Rahul, a 20-year-old resident of Karunagappally. Police officials confirmed they recovered exactly 10.246 grams of MDMA from his possession during the operation. This synthetic drug, commonly known as ecstasy, had reportedly traveled a considerable distance before reaching Kerala.
Investigators revealed the MDMA originated in Bengaluru, where it was allegedly procured before being transported to the southern state for distribution. The interstate nature of this smuggling operation demonstrates how drug networks often span multiple regions.
