Court's Verdict

While sentencing the convict, Additional Sessions Judge A N Vora stated, "Considering the facts of the case and the submissions regarding the sentence, the accused inflicted injuries with a knife on the deceased in a public place, causing the death of the deceased, and deprived the deceased's family of their loved one without any reason. Therefore, no mercy can be shown towards the accused."

The court sentenced Parmar to life imprisonment and ordered him to pay Rs 50,000 as compensation to the victim's family within a month. In case of default, he will undergo an additional three months of simple imprisonment.
