Police Reconstruct Murder Plot at Lohagad Fort
Pune police on Wednesday took the prime accused in the Lohagad Fort murder case, Siya Goyal, to the site where the alleged murder plot was rehearsed. According to police, Goyal and her accomplice, Vishal Chaudhary, allegedly eliminated Ketan Agarwal because he was becoming an obstacle in their relationship.
Details of the Crime
The murder took place at Lohagad Fort, a popular trekking destination near Pune. Police officials stated that Goyal and Chaudhary had planned the murder meticulously, rehearsing the plot at the fort before executing it. Agarwal's body was discovered earlier this week, leading to a swift investigation.
Accused Taken to Scene
During the reconstruction, Goyal was taken to the exact location where the rehearsal occurred, as well as the spot where Agarwal was allegedly killed. Police are using this evidence to solidify their case against the accused. According to PTI, the police have also recovered a weapon believed to have been used in the crime.
Relationship Motive
Investigators revealed that Agarwal had been a hindrance to the relationship between Goyal and Chaudhary. "The accused saw Ketan as an obstacle and decided to eliminate him," a police official said. Goyal and Chaudhary have been arrested and are in police custody.
