Lucknow Father Files FIR Over Daughter's Death in Saudi Arabia

In a tragic case that has shocked Lucknow, a father has filed a formal police complaint alleging the dowry-related murder of his daughter in Saudi Arabia. Sher Ali Khan approached the Chinhat police station with a detailed account of events leading to his daughter Aiman Khan's death.

Marriage and Immediate Demands

Aiman Khan, a BTech graduate in Computer Science and a working software engineer, married Mohammad Aamir Khan from Rae Bareli on April 10 last year. According to the FIR, the groom's family insisted on substantial dowry at the time of the wedding.

The complainant stated that he provided dowry as demanded. However, Aamir specifically asked for an Innova car. Sher Ali Khan explained he could only arrange a Kia Seltos instead. This discrepancy reportedly angered the groom soon after the marriage.

Escalating Violence and Harassment

The FIR details that Aamir expressed fury over the car not being transferred to his name. In a fit of rage, he allegedly smashed Aiman's iPhone. The situation worsened when the couple moved to Saudi Arabia.

In Saudi Arabia, Aiman faced continuous mental and physical harassment. Her husband Aamir, his brother Umair, and brothers-in-law Rashid and Mohammad Rafi allegedly abused, assaulted, and threatened her regularly. They repeatedly pressured her to bring Rs 20 lakh from her parental home in India.

A Brief Return and False Promises

In October, Aiman managed to return to India alone. She narrated her ordeal to her family. After further discussions, Aamir gave assurances that no harm would come to her. Trusting these promises, Aiman returned to Jeddah.

Unfortunately, the torture intensified after her return. The harassment became more severe according to the complaint filed by her father.

The Final Days and Tragic Discovery

During a WhatsApp conversation on December 17, 2025, Sher Ali Khan sensed his daughter's condition was deteriorating rapidly. He claimed she was being denied food, forced out of the house, and prevented from returning to India.

On December 18, repeated calls to Aiman went unanswered. Calls to Aamir and Umair also failed. The family then contacted a friend named Faizan who resides in Saudi Arabia. They asked him to visit Aiman's location immediately.

Faizan later informed the family that Aiman had died. Local police were already present at the scene. This devastating news confirmed the family's worst fears.

Allegations of Murder Disguised as Suicide

Considering the past cruelty and threats, Sher Ali Khan firmly believes his pregnant daughter was murdered in a pre-planned manner. He alleges the accused strangled Aiman with her dupatta and hanged her from a ceiling fan to make it appear as suicide.

The father's complaint paints a harrowing picture of sustained abuse culminating in what he describes as a calculated murder.

Police Response and Investigation

SHO Dinesh Mishra of Chinhat police station confirmed that a probe is being conducted based on the FIR. Authorities are examining the allegations of dowry harassment, prolonged cruelty, and suspected murder.

This case highlights serious concerns about dowry-related violence and the safety of Indian women abroad. The investigation will seek to uncover the truth behind Aiman Khan's tragic death in Saudi Arabia.
